Registration Open for "Swim For Smiles" Youth Triathlon in Briar Chapel

The 8th Annual "Swim For Smiles" Youth Triathlon, open to kids ages 5-23, will be held on Sunday, September 7th, 2014, in Briar Chapel.

It’s not unusual for this triathlon to draw at least 500 kids — sometimes more. The 2011 event drew over 800 participants making it the largest youth triathlon in the US. Course options are:
  • Short course: 100-meter swim, 2.5 mile bike, 1K run
  • Long Course: 300-meter swim, 5 mile bike, 3K run
  • Sprint Distance: 400-meter swim, 10 mile bike, 5K run
