John R. McAdams Company, Inc. has posted illustrated site plans for Briar Chapel on its website:

Welcome to Briar Chapel

Located just 5 miles south of Chapel Hill, Briar Chapel is a planned community that encompasses over 1,500 acres. Residents enjoy sharing over 900 acres of open space, including extensive walking and biking trails, saltwater pools, community gardens, clubhouse, active & passive parks, natural woodlands and creeks. The community has two schools onsite (Woods Charter & Margaret Pollard Middle School), a county park with recreational fields, and eventually up to 500,000 sqft of commercial space. All homes are required to be certified-green, and are priced between $190,000 to $900,000+.

About the Authors

Jennifer & Peter have both lived in the Triangle area for over 25 years. They were one of the first families to move into Briar Chapel, and have been enjoying the great lifestyle and amenities this community has to offer ever since. Together, they have sold over 100 homes in this community! As owners of a green-certified home with a 5kW solar PV system, they are intimately familiar with the benefits of living in a high-performance home. Consider them your trusted advisors for real estate in Briar Chapel.
