Over the past two weeks, I've had a number of folks ask me why some homes by McNeill Burbank in Briar Chapel have had signs with the Charlotte-based Saussy Burbank name. This is also true in the 2011 Parade of Homes guide book.According to the builder's website, McNeill Burbank will begin operating under the Saussy Burbank name this Wednesday, October 12.
In a press release, the company said the change is primarily a marketing initiative to help prospective customers find information more easily. Partners Al McNeill and Jim Burbank stressed that the change is in name only, and that no changes are being made to ownership or personnel.
