In celebration of Earth Day, Redfin recently released a list of 10 neighborhoods across the U.S. with the largest number of green homes. The ranking is based on the proportion of “green” listings out of total listings in the neighborhood over the past two years.Although 100% of Briar Chapel's homes are green-certified, Redfin mistakenly attributed only 26% of the community's listings. Newland is working with Redfin to better understand how the data were compiled, and determine if any corrections to the manner in which homes are marketed is needed.
Regardless, Briar Chapel continues to be recognized as a top destination for buyers who appreciate the benefits of high performance homes and healthy living.
